To speak Reddit, is to speak Culture.
So, six months ago, I did an experiment.
For two days, I commented on Reddit posts.
In the world of Reddit, the community can be extremely unforgiving if you comment just to comment.
You’re labeled a “try-hard” or a “karma-whore,” (yes, reddit is dark).
For those unfamiliar with Reddit, Karma is the summation of upvote points received from posting and commenting on the site.
In two days that I tried my hand at the comment section, (maybe 30-40 total comments), I received 6,000 post Karma. This means that over 6,000 people thought what I had to say was relevant enough to upvote.
I never saw myself as a “Redditor,” but now I am.
Just take a look at that sweet, sweet Karma.
A FEW OF MY BEST COMMENTS ON REDDIT
The reddit comment section loves making images with text, so I tried my hand at it.
Women in cosplay always go to the front page, so I caught this post early on and made a joke out of it.
I don’t know why my comment on a guys elbow was the top one; I guess a lot of people agreed.
I cannot stress this enough. Girls who cosplay always go to the front page. Here, I pushed that truth to a new altitude.
