“The Place Close To Your Heart”
We ran our most intimate radio spot to date: a love letter from Coke to Local New York Eats, broadcast throughout the entire tri-state area.
radio spot at :21
I personally presented this spot to the CEO of Coca-Cola North America, at which point he said “Yes, we’re doing this.”
TIMES SQUARE BILLBOARD
First, we tapped our Times Square billboard, taking iconic aspects of the neon restaurant sign to form a dynamic Coke bottle filled with all the ways to show love for NYC’s local spots.
PHASE II: Support (These) Local Eats
Keeping with our campaign’s core idea of “take out to help out” we got even more localized with our advertising, putting signs up in all four boroughs highlighting the nearby spots, even creating custom neon signs inspired by each restaurant’s “open” sign.
